Fundraising for the Avon Walk in Annette's name...

Breast Cancer is a bitch.  I have had entirely too many people I know effected by it, now one has been taken from this earth way too soon.  Annette Stefaniak, a friend, a customer, a wife, a mother to 3 beautiful children, succumbed to breast cancer on January 6, 2015.  Some of her friends in California were unable to physically help her or her family in Michigan, and we were requested to NOT raise funds.   We listened.

However, Rebekah Hosford, who knew Annette through the San Diego Real Diaper Circle, made a commitment to participate in the Avon Walk to End Breast Cancer in Annette's name.  She's been pushing her big double stroller with two of her three children training for this 39 mile walk.  Along with the training is the fundraising.  Rebekah has contacted lots of companies for some fabulous donations, and she has an auction set up over on Por el Amore de - the blog I started when I first learned of Annette's battle.  Now we get to use it for what it was created for.
